Fateh Sagar Lake is an artificial lake that is named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur and Mewar. Lake Pichola

 
Lake Pichola is yet another remarkable artificial lake that is located in the heart of Udaipur city. This lake was built by Picchu Banjara, a Banjara tribesman in the year 1362 AD. The calm waters of this lake are surrounded by dainty islands and temples, which make it one of the popular lakes to visit in Udaipur.

Built in the year 1565, Udai Sagar Lake is an artificial lake in the city of Lakes, Udaipur. It was established by Maharana Udai Singh. This lake is fed by the waters of River Ahar.

Rajsamand Lake

 
Udaipur also features the popular Rajsamand Lake, which was built during the year 1660 by Rana Raj Singh. The lake is named after the nearby village of Rajsamand and has a length of 2.8 kilometres and a width of 6.4 kilometres. This lake is of historical significance because it was used as a seaplane base during World War ll.

Badi Lake

 
Badi Lake is a freshwater lake in Udaipur. It was established by Maharana Raj Singh as a means to counteract the damage caused by the drought and famine. This lake has an area of 155 square kilometres and is bordered by three kiosks or chhatris. The water from this lake was used during the drought of 1973. Doodh Talai

 
Contiguous with Lake Pichola, Doodh Talai Lake is surrounded by enamouring hillocks that accentuate the beauty of the place. It is a smaller water body as compared to the other lakes in Udaipur, but it is equally as beautiful as the rest. The lake also features camel and horse rides along its banks that can be enjoyed by visiting travellers.
